(2) When the organic foaming agent decomposes, the internal temperature of the foaming system increases. If the internal temperature is too high, the physical properties of the polymer will be damaged, and even the polymer will be carbonized. Therefore, in the production of thicker foam body to pay special attention.
(3) Most of the organic foaming agents are inflammables with low decomposition temperature, so fire prevention should be paid attention to.
In order to obtain microcellular foams with excellent properties, the foaming agent should be mixed evenly as far as possible to make them full and lax. It is better to place the mixed polymer material for several hours, so that the foaming agent particles can fully migrate between them, and then foam under appropriate process conditions (such as heating temperature, heating time and pressure).
